The EduSpring Story

About Edusrping

EduSpring began in 2015, not in a grand hall, but in a cosy learning space in Mira Road, Mumbai. Starting with just one learner, Misbah Ali brought stories, creative activities, and imagination into lessons. One child became many, and the small English class grew into reading circles, storytelling clubs, and after-school programmes where children found joy in learning.

To make every classroom a space where creativity, curiosity, collaboration, and confidence thrive through English, storytelling, drama, and interactive activities.

Meet Misbah Ali – The Story Wizard

✨ Turning stories into learning, imagination into confidence.

A Bombay-born storyteller and educator, Misbah Ali has spent over 18 years making English learning creative, expressive, and joyful. She founded EduSpring Academy (2015) — a space where children learn English through storytelling, creative writing, speech, literature, and drama.

Misbah has reached over 12,000 children and trained 4,500+ educators through her programs, performances, and books, helping them rediscover the joy of learning and teaching English.

A certified storyteller and process drama educator, Misbah has trained in Storytelling & Drama for Education at Storywise Singapore, Kathalaya Academy (Bangalore), and Surekha Dey’s Academy (Wayanad). She also holds a Master’s Diploma in TEFL/TESOL, a Diploma in Early Childhood Education, a Diploma in Psychological Counselling, and is a Certified Phonics and Grammar Educator from Mumbai.

Recognised with the ABCD Super Teacher Award (2024), Misbah has performed and collaborated with organisations such as the Mumbai Children’s Museum, Kala Ghoda Arts Festival, and Gaatha Festival, and has worked with numerous schools across India.

Over the years, she has led impactful projects and conferences on making English learning joyful through storytelling, creative writing, and drama. Her initiatives have reached tribal and rural schools, and she has been invited as a speaker on several educational platforms to share her ideas on bringing creativity and reading into classrooms.

Her storytelling style is performative and dramatic, filled with expressive voice, movement, and colourful props. She loves stepping into different characters and often leads group storytelling performances that turn stories into memorable experiences.

In her classrooms, Misbah blends storytelling, drama, creative writing, and language learning, transforming English lessons into journeys of imagination, expression, and confidence.
